Dear Family,
We dwell in two dimensions at the same time. This principle is important as you affirm who you are in Christ. You dwell on earth (in the natural realm) and simultaneously, in heaven – you seated together with Christ in the heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6). Jesus said it this way when speaking to Nicodemus on earth: “No one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of Man who is in heaven.” (John 3:13). Jesus was physically speaking to Nicodemus and yet, He said of Himself as the Son of Man who is in heaven.
As a citizen of heaven dwelling in heaven, it is important that you maximise the resource of where you are in heaven on earth.
Your prayer should be from heaven to earth and not earth to heaven. When you pray from earth to heaven, you are speaking your natural and carnal desires to God in heaven but that is not the model Jesus taught us. He said in Matthew 6:10 – “Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” Earth is meant to look like heaven. To personalise this, your earth (your life and surrounding) should be like heaven. You therefore pray and bring down (birth) the will of your Father in heaven for you from heaven to earth. Seek His will, promises, covenant, and word for you and let that manifest around you. As a son or daughter, we pray from His dimension to ours.
