“…in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.” –Philippians 4:6

The next confession or step of faith for supernatural breakthrough is I thank You for it!

Think about this: We come into God’s presence when we pray. But when we praise, He comes into ours!

“Praise is the big gun of faith.” In many cases, personal praise is the missing element of crossing from believing to receiving. If you’re believing for healing, once you go through the healing scriptures in the Old and New Testaments, begin to praise and thank our heavenly Father who sent Jesus to the cross. Praise Him for healing you!

“Oh, thank You, Jesus, for bearing my sins in Your own body on the tree. By Your stripes I was, and I am, healed!”

Praise Him! Thank Him! When you can’t sleep because of pain, praise Him. When you start to worry about finances, praise Him. Praise Him when you’re facing the pain of loneliness or the desire for family.

In that place of praise and worship, great victories are won.

Faith is the victory that overcomes the world. And praise is the greatest demonstration of that faith!

In Exercising Your Faith, Remember Forgiveness

“Faith working through love” –Galatians 5:6

Without forgiveness, faith will not work.  Faith will not work in an unforgiving heart.

Here’s why:

  • Unforgiveness blocks your own forgiveness (Mark 11:25).
  • Unforgiveness takes you out of the love walk. (Faith won’t work without love.)
  • Unforgiveness is a prayer blocker.
  • Unforgiveness is disobedience.

If you said right off, “I don’t have anyone to forgive,” it’s a sure sign you do. No matter where you are in life, it takes time to stop, think and ask the Lord to bring to your remembrance anyone you have anything against. It isn’t always some colossal offense. It could be as simple as a remark someone made. It could even be that you haven’t forgiven yourself. (That counts, too!)

The devil will try to keep you in unforgiveness so you will continue going ’round and ’round the same mountain WITHOUT YOUR BLESSING. Don’t let him get away with it! Forgive—quickly—and watch how fast your supernatural breakthrough appears.

When Jesus offers you something—any promise you find in His Word—your response should always be the same: I pray. I believe. I will. I take it. I have it. I praise You for it, and I forgive. That’s faith. It’s the victory that overcomes the world!
